Channel 4 dating show
The pairs will have their homes fitted with cameras to capture everything from their arguments to their bedroom antics.
In each episode of Sex Tape, the couples meet each other, along with a sex therapist, for a ‘new therapy’.
They reveal their uncensored tapes to each other to see whether ‘they can gain a new perspective on their relationship’.
Channel 4 factual entertainment commissioning editor Becky Cadman described the programme as an ‘innovative’ show.
She said it ‘promises a unique fly-on-the-wall look at relationships as they really happen, including the good, the bad and the ugly’.
Executive producer Gary Chippington said the show was a ‘ground-breaking series’.
Campaigners have frequently warned that reality shows are becoming increasingly explicit.
Last year, ITV’s reality dating show Love Island, dubbed the most vulgar series in TV history, saw four couples having sex on TV in just one night.
It is not the first time Channel 4 has commissioned a tawdry reality show. The show involves young singletons in a villa on Majorca under constant surveillance – with night-vision cameras filming bedroom antics. They have to complete often explicit challenges and form relationships – but the couples frequently change, with a continuous process of dating, break-ups and recoupling. lol Would have been great if there were English subs but from what I can deduce, they obviously had a happy ending.
And much much better looking than most of those on the Brit version. The pair then meet up at swanky restaurant- London’s Paternoster Chop House - and we get to spy on their dates with the help of cameras and microphones.
